Giraffe is a large mammal that eats by grazing leaves from the trees. It exists in the wild only on the African continent.  It has been recognized since pre-historic times in African art and culture. It was depicted in painting on cave walls. It was considered a magical creature in African legend.

The Giraffe totem brings the ability to see the future and to reach things normally out of reach. It is clairvoyant and has deep communicative and intuitive abilities. A Giraffe totem brings balance and grounding. It will always have a strong bond with family and friends. Giraffe can help us to see life in a way that is both grounded and expansive.
