Day 6

Day 6 is all about packing!  And this is where we question our sanity. The lifting, taping while bent over packing boxes, twisting around while carrying 30-40lbs packages, stacking finished cases and all the while keeping track of each container’s content is a challenge; thank goodness for our partnership!  When one of us is ready to give in and quit, the other one cracks a joke, calls a break or hands over a cold drink.

The sun rises on our final day in Tucson. We are done! Shipping boxes have been taken to the freight company for delivery in about a week. Hallelujah! We celebrate by a marvelous early dinner at Mama Louisa’s Italian Restaurant, a Tucson establishment for over 50 years.
