Owl is a great hunter with eyes that can see in the dark and feathers that enhance silent flight. Owl is a symbol of action. It is a messenger filled with discernment and wisdom.  It brings comfort and freedom. It is a bird of the night.

Owl is a woodland bird. It is a nocturnal predator that feeds mostly on small mammals and insects. It is solitary and hunts alone. The Hopi revered the burrowing Owl as the god of the dead. The Navajo respected Owl as a prophet. The Tlingit hooted like an Owl for confidence during battle.
