Tiger Eye is a type of Chalcedony found in metamorphic rock. It is a pseudomorph of Quartz and Crocidolite that occurs when Quartz take over the Crocidolite. It results in finely fibrous golden and brown stones. If the pseudomorph process is incomplete, the original bluish gray of the Crocidolite remains intact creating Blue Tiger Eye. Tiger Eye is found in Australia and South Africa. Some of its varieties are also found in the United States and many other places around the world. There are several varieties of Tiger Eye including Arizona Tiger Eye, Blue Tiger Eye, Marra Mamba Tiger Eye, and Tiger Eye Matrix. These varieties come in a number of colors including golden, yellow, brown, red, white, blue, and gray. It has been valued around the world throughout history. Ancient Roman soldiers carried amulets of Tiger Eye because it was said to enhance courage and bring out their inner tiger. It was believed to ward off evil and evil spirits. Ganesha is the first born son of Shiva and Parvati. He has the head of an elephant and is known as the Remover of Obstacles. He is the patron of arts and science and the deva of intellect and wisdom. He is also recognized as the god of beginnings. In addition to being included in the Hindu pantheon, he is widely recognized in Buddhism and Jainism.
